27 Awesome Things to Do In Toronto During March Break 2015

It’s March and you know that that means…an entire week with your kids! Luckily Toronto has a range of activities for kids of all ages. Here’s 27 things to do in Toronto during March Break.

  1. Check out Disney’s Cinderella and Frozen Fever. Disney’s much anticipated hit Cinderella is headed to theatres March 13, 2015. It opens with the equally anticipated Frozen Fever short. Wait it out and catch a matinee during March Break. Find local theatres and showtimes here.Cinderella
  2. Take your princess love at step further and head to see Disney on Ice: Frozen live at the Rogers Centre. Tickets available here.
  3. While your trying to keep your animals from going wild with boredom, learn what the Toronto Zoo does for theirs.  Head to the six indoor tropical pavilions and learn more about how the zoo uses enrichment to engage the animals at the Enrichment Extravaganza. Don’t forget to visit the Pandas who love playing in the the snow.
  4. Teach your kids to fly. Check out indoor sky diving with iFly Toronto. Kids as young as 4 are able to participate. More info here.
  5. Head to your local Indigo book store for their Best Ever March Break with includes free activities like Lego building, Cinderella celebrations and Klutz craft making. Full schedule here.
  6. Check out new indoor playground Planet Fun. At only $8 a child and $5 a sibling, its a great place to let all their sillies out without spending all  your dough.
  7. Tap into their love for all things sweet at the Toronto Maple Syrup SugarBush Festival.
  8. Head to the Evergreen Brickworks for free outdoor skating and plenty of indoor drop-in events everyday from 10am-3pm. More info here.
  9. Be an early bird and head to the Ripley’s Aquarium for breakfast with the sharks.
  10. Get creative with graffiti fun and daily drop-in activities at the Art Gallery of Ontario.
  11. Head to new heights with a family friendly lunch at 360 in the CN Tower and check out the TORONTO2015 Games. The CN Tower is the only place to see the official Pan Am Games Torch before it heads to Mexico for the 41 day rely. Pachi, the Toronto 2015 Games mascot will be on hand too.
  12. Check out the indoor Wizard World Fun Park the the Exhibition Place- Better Living Centre. More info here.

  14. Take them to Wonderland with the National Ballet of Canada Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
  15. Pick their brains and introduce them to reptiles with Safari Jeff at the Ontario Science Centre.

  17. Cheer for the Toronto Marlies with 2 games happening at home during March Break!
  18. Check out the past and the future with daily drop-in activities at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM).
  19. Watch Pinocchio really come to life at the Yonge People’s Theatre in Toronto.
  20. Enjoy bricktastic programming and extended hours at the Legoland Discover Centre Vaughn Mills. Tickets must be purchased in advance are available here.
  21. Who said you’ll never be royals? Head to Casa Loma to play knights, princesses, kings and more while singing along with Cinderella at their King’s Court March Break event. More info here.

  25. Introduce them to the hilarity that ensues regularly at The Second City Toronto with a viewing of the live show Big Bad Wolf vs. Lord Underwearface von Schtinker.   26. Explore your own home town  for up to 40% off with CityPASS. Gain a new appreciation for the city by playing tourist with your kids. City Pass includes admission to the Toronto Zoo, ROM, Ontario Science Centre, Casa Loma and CN Tower.
  27. Catch a thief with Sherlock Holmes at Black Creek Village. Kids will love the march break programming that includes a detective school, horse drawn carriage rides and the opportunity to question the villagers to catch a thief! More here.
